Before Installing Hair

Detangle hair and co-wash with cold water then apply sulfate free conditioner or any name brand conditioner. Let conditioner sit for 5-10 mins, then rinse out with cold water.

Goddess Collections hair has minimal shedding, but for little to no shedding use Fray Check weft glue to seal the wefts (available at Walmart).

After Installing Hair

Brush or comb hair with a wide tooth comb daily to prevent tangling. We recommend co-washing and conditioning hair every 2-3 weeks to keep hair soft and luxurious. If your extensions have excess oil shampoo and condition your extensions to remove all excess oil. Remember to always detangle hair before washing!

If you color or bleach the extensions, we recommend conditioning your extensions every 1-2 weeks to keep the hair hydrated. Please be sure to take care of your hair as you would your real hair.

Always allow the hair to air dry as blow drying hair can cause heat damage. Use a heat protector when applying heat to hair. Never go to bed with wet hair. Wrap hair with a silk/satin scarf or bonnet at night while sleeping.

Wavy/Curly Hair

Please note, wavy/curly hair requires a little more maintenance.

Deep condition hair weekly if possible to maintain curls or waves (especially for curly hair).

Use a spray bottle and add water plus a little conditioner and spray hair daily to make curls or waves pop! Always keep curls or waves hydrated! 

To hydrate and enhance curls more use leave in conditioner or curling creme.

To maintain the "wet look," you can spray water on hair and apply mousse while wet. Allow to dry. Never go to bed with wet hair. Wrap the hair with a silk/satin scarf or wear a bonnet at night while sleeping.

*Before installing, dying and bleaching rules apply to curly/wavy hair as well.
